The Old City Federal

This building in the heart of North Birmingham used to be the tallest in the city, and in its day was host to pop radio stations back in Bull Connor's Birmingham. The building is, unfortunately, condemned now - the last inhabitants that were allowed to live there did so on the top floors that were re-made into loft apartments before the asbestos levels were declared unsafe about ten years ago. They don't even light the sign on the top anymore.
